This is all about lightness and elegance. The fragrance is pleasantly sweet with a fine blend of vanilla biscuits, honey and a slightly malty note. This is joined by a fresh, fruity component - citrus fruits such as lime and orange are clearly perceptible, while a subtle tropical pineapple resonates in the background.
The Legacy is just as mild and friendly on the tongue as it is on the nose. Icing sugar and honey lend it a pleasant sweetness, while pear and a light grassy freshness provide variety. The texture is creamy, which makes the whisky pleasantly round. A gentle oak note creeps in in the background - not too dominant, but with a slightly soapy touch.
The finish is rather short and ends on a fresh, tangy note.
